Năm 1995, Kim bắt đầu chuyển sang viết văn và từ đó tới nay đã xuất bản bốn tiểu thuyết cùng nhiều truyện ngắn bằng tiếng Hàn. Moonji đánh giá anh là một trong những tác giả trẻ dẫn dắt nền văn học Hàn Quốc thế kỷ 21.
Năm 2014 Kim Young Ha có dịp tới Việt Nam giao lưu cùng độc giả theo lời mời của Viện Dịch thuật văn học Hàn Quốc tại TP HCM.
In 1995, Kim began writing and has since published four novels and several short stories in Korean. Moonji rated him as one of the young authors leading 21st-century Korean literature.
In 2014, Kim Young Ha had the opportunity to come to Vietnam to exchange with readers at the invitation of the Korea Literary Translation Institute in Ho Chi Minh City.
